In the center of Budapest there is a lovely farmers market where the visitors can buy plenty of home-made foods (vegetables, jams, herbs, spices, fruits, meats, cheese, sausages etc.) and hand-made soaps, jewelleries etc.
The name of the place is Szimpla Kert which was the first ruin pub in Budapest by the way. In Szimpla Kert ruin pub you can drink and eat from Monday till Sunday but in every Sunday morning from 9 am. till 2 pm. it turns to Szimpla Farmers Market. Every Sunday morning we take our bicycles, ride to that market buy all the necessary foods for Kitchen Pixie and for our families as well.
We recommended to everybody to drink a cold, hand-made beer or fröccs (spritzer) in Szimpla Kert ruin pub and buy home-made foods and hand-made accessoires in Szimpla Farmers Market on Sundays.
